Training With Trust
About Me
Training horses is about trust and respect. Too many times, I've seen fear used as a way to get a horse to obey someone; I believe that to get a good horse, you must demand respect but not fear and be willing to listen to them. I have been riding for over 15 years and do everything I can to help the horses reach their full potential. Taking the time to make sure they're comfortable rather than forcing them to listen.

“I am still under the impression that there is nothing alive quite so beautiful as a horse.”

Helping You Help Your Horse

Tune Ups
If your horse is already able to be ridden but hasn't been taken out in a while and needs a tune-up, I will give them a refresher course to get them back on track.

Ground Training and Gentling
In my gentling and ground training work, I make sure to take the necessary amount of time for the horse to adjust to each step. This varies from case to case as sometimes it requires that they unlearn bad habits or work through whatever trauma they may have experienced. I take my training seriously and do my best to get each horse I work with as sound as possible, laying the groundwork for your own bond with them.

Riding Lessons
Training the rider is just as important as training the horse. After all, what good is a well-trained horse if the person on it doesn't know how to handle them correctly? I make sure the owner knows how to handle their horse so they will work well together after I'm done training.
I also offer lessons to those who don't own a horse yet but would still like to learn to ride.
